BLAG Terms and Conditions of Service
Important, please read this page very carefully in its entirety before using any BLAG services and visiting our websites, including www.BLAGmagazine.com, www.BLAG.london, and www.WeAreBLAG.com. It sets out terms and conditions of our service which are a legally binding agreement between you and BLAG.
www.BLAG.london and www.BLAGmagazine.com (and accessible through www.WeAreBLAG.com) provides entertainment content services and hosts e-commerce for the purchase of Fine Art Prints and BLAG published print editions.
Please note our Terms and Conditions of Service are available in the English language only.
By continuing to use this and any BLAG site, you accept these Terms and Conditions of Service, you also accept the terms listed in the Privacy and Copyright Policies.

Detailed in these Terms and Conditions of Service you will find out how you may access and use BLAG and the content / services we make available here.
We refer to our service as “BLAG”, we”, “us” or “our”.
These terms and conditions apply to your use of www.BLAG.london, www.BLAGshow.com, www.BLAGmagazine.com, www.WeAreBLAG.com, www.BLAG.shop and all BLAG content regardless of the device or delivery platform you use to access it.
By using www.BLAG.london, www.BLAGshow.com, www.BLAG.shop, www.WeAreBLAG.com and / or www.BLAGmagazine.com, you agree to these terms and conditions of service and our privacy and copyright policies. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions in their entirety, please do not use our websites, newsletter, chat services or sign up for BLAG and you should cancel any membership or customer account you have with us, in accordance with your cancellation rights (detailed below). Please only contact us with questions that aren’t answered on this page or our FAQ page.

By using BLAG, accessing www.BLAG.london and / or www.BLAGmagazine.com and any of our sites listed above, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions of service, along with our copyright and privacy policies in their entirety. If you do not agree with these terms and policies in full, please refrain from using all BLAG sites and services.
We reserve the right to amend, change or update these terms and conditions and policies from time to time for legal or regulatory reasons, or to reflect changes in our services or business practises.
We will provide notices of updates in section 14 below and customers with accounts and members will receive notification of updates via email. Updates will be effective immediately upon publication.
2. Use of BLAG and Access
In order for us to continue to create premium content, our users are required to comply with this section.
Please thoroughly read our Copyright Policy which explains how you are allowed to use BLAG content, it also lists the types of use we don’t permit without written agreement from the BLAG owners. By accepting these Terms and Conditions of Service, you also agree to adhere to our Copyright Policy.
If you or someone you know has or is using BLAG Content without appropriate permissions, you may approach us in order to resolve and legitimise that usage. Please contact us with details, set out on our Copyright Policy page.
3. Age Restriction
You must be aged 18 or over to use BLAG and BLAG services.
4. Registration and Privacy
When you register with BLAG you must supply us with accurate and complete information in order to be a customer or member. You must keep your information up-to-date with us, so we can contact you regarding your purchase or membership, as we can only rely on the information you supply us with.
Each registration is for single-use only. Please use your full name and the provided memorable and private password for your “Account”. Please note accounts created prior to January 2021 are no longer valid and require re-registration. The email address that you provide us with must correspond with the registration name and not be a shared or generic email address or account.
Please note your Account should not be shared and you should not allow anyone else access to it. We do not allow multiple use of one Account. Without further obligation to you, we may cancel or suspend your access to BLAG if you share your Account.
You are not permitted to create multiple registrations on each site, this is because you are solely responsible for your use of your BLAG subscription(s) and / or account(s) and for preventing unauthorised use of your Account.
If you believe there has been misuse of your Account or security breach such as the disclosure, theft or unauthorised use of your Account, log-in information or any payment information, you must notify us immediately via our contact form.
Should you require login reminder information, if you lose or forget your information, please request a password reset. We advise that you change your password regularly.
If you provide us with an email address that may result in our messages being sent via a network or device owned or operated by a third party, for example your educational institute or employer, then you must promise that you are entitled to receive our messages there and that they are secure and confidential. You also agree that BLAG may stop sending you messages without notification.
Customers and members of BLAG are reminded that should they choose to use to save login information on personal devices, this will allow automatic access as it remembers your information.
5. Membership Services and Customer Accounts
Premium BLAG content is available to the public to enjoy, under these terms and conditions. All content including but not limited to photography, text, audio, video, logos and design remains the strict property of BLAG. Any content contributed by third parties is credited to the copyright holder and used by kind permission. Please read our Copyright Policy for details.
BLAG reserves the right to present, change, edit or vary the content, amount of content and types of service that we make available online.
When you purchase a product from BLAG, you must provide us with complete and accurate payment information including the final shipping / billing destination.
By submitting payment details, you promise that you are entitled to purchase a product using the payment details you provide us with.
If we don’t receive payment authorisation or any authorisation is subsequently cancelled, we may immediately cancel your order and suspend your customer account or membership.
In suspicious circumstances we may need to contact the payment provider or issuing bank and / or law enforcement authorities or appropriate third parties, with details provided.
If you are entitled to a refund under our terms, we will credit the card or payment method you used to make your payment. If your payment method has expired, we will contact you.
Please note, digital tickets, subscriptions or membership this is non-refundable.
Taxes and other fees
Where products are applicable to value added tax (VAT) this will be included in the price. Any applicable tax is listed on your receipt or invoice, which you will receive upon receipt of your payment. Please note import duties are not included and we encourage you to research these before purchase, wherever relevant.
Please note when paying from another currency other than GBP Sterling £, your bank may charge an international transaction fee as well as convert currency at their own going rates, you are responsible for these charges and they are not included in any of our pricing. You are also responsible for the payment of any data required to use our services such as WiFi and mobile.
If we incorrectly state a price to you online, in any marketing materials or otherwise, we aren’t obliged to provide a product to you at the error price, even if we mistakenly accept your offer at that price. We reserve the right to contact you with regards to the pricing error in good faith. If we do, you may cancel your order without any obligation to us and we will refund any money you have paid to us in full, alternatively you are welcome to pay the correct price for your order. If we don’t hear from you, we will refund you in full for the error.
If you order any BLAG fine art print editions and / or back issue magazines, please see our FAQs page for details, including our returns policy. We do not offer refunds on printed matter.
If your payment fails, we will contact you to determine if you would like to make an alternative payment or cancel your subscription.
6. Mailing List
Cancellation of your mailing list registration
When you register for an account, membership or sign up for our mailing list, you will be asked if you would like to receive our newsletters or you may decide to opt-in to receive newsletters to learn more about BLAG. These are prepared to keep you up-to-date about BLAG and any other BLAG news we believe will be of interest. BLAG reserves the right to suspend or terminate your registration at any time, with or without notice and without further obligation to you. If you would like to cancel your mailing list registration then please unsubscribe via any email you have received from us. Please note you will no longer be updated about BLAG if you unsubscribe. You will be required to register again, should you wish to receive newsletters again. If subscribed or a member, you can do so in your Account.
7. Original and Supplied Content Appearing on BLAG
BLAG creates and produces original, premium content for our digital, print publishing and marketing materials. Any third-party content appearing on any BLAG site or within BLAG printed editions to visually explain any written, filmed or audio stories has been submitted by the subject and / or copyright holder with permission for use purely on and / or in BLAG with credits. Please see our Copyright Policy for details.
For the avoidance of doubt, BLAG doesn’t accept and cannot be held responsible for any unsolicited submissions such as but not limited to: writing, art, photography, video, audio or content, whether provided physically or electronically from artists. All unsolicited submissions will, at BLAG’s sole discretion, be discarded and will not be returned to you.
Please note our content may appear differently depending on the device, browser and screen settings you are using.
8. Third Party Services and Sites
We sometimes provide links to third party websites from www.BLAGmagazine.com, third party services are sometimes mentioned within our features. We do use some reputable third party companies to provide marketing, technical and security services. We do not carry advertising.
We advise you to read the Terms and Conditions of any third party sites for your understanding of how they may use your activity.
9. Our Responsibilities to Members, Customers and Visitors
Summary of what this section means
We accept no financial responsibility to you arising from your use of BLAG websites, services or BLAG content.
If you are a viewer / reader or customer, we limit our financial responsibility to you arising from your use of any BLAG website or BLAG content to the price you paid for your service.
In no circumstances do we accept responsibility for your use of Third Party Sites or in respect of any Third Party Products. By Third Party Sites we mean websites, online or mobile services provided by third parties, including websites that may be linked, discussed or mentioned in any of our content. By Third Party Products we mean products or services mentioned and / or provided by third parties.
Although this means that we accept very little in the way of financial responsibility for your use of BLAG and BLAG Content, we believe this is on the fair basis that you can view BLAG content free-of-charge. It is not commercially possible for us to accept more responsibility for your use of BLAG than that set out in this Section (10) taking into account that we permit you to use BLAG for a relatively inexpensive cost and many aspects for none at all.
Limitations of BLAG Content
The BLAG Content (including any information we publish regarding Third Party Companies, Locations, Services or Products) is purely for your general information and entertainment purposes and is not intended to address any of your particular requirements. In particular, BLAG and any other content provided by third parties and distributed by BLAG, does not constitute any form of advice, recommendation, representation, endorsement or arrangement by BLAG.
The views and quotations expressed in BLAG in print and online are those of the respective contributors and featured artists and are not necessarily shared by the Directors and associates of BLAG. Our business association with featured artists is limited to that presented in or on BLAG and we don’t represent any artists or their own business, we don’t necessarily endorse opinions expressed during and / or outside our collaborations or how an artist chooses to verbalise, present themselves or who or what they endorse or associate with outside of this collaboration, including other interviews and their online persona's. Please contact their official representatives directly with any business enquiries.
Any agreements, transactions or other arrangements made between you and any third party named on BLAG is at your own responsibility and entered into at your own risk. Any information that you receive via BLAG, may have stopped being current by the time it reaches you.
We promise to develop and operate BLAG with reasonable skill and care and will use reasonable efforts to promptly remedy any faults of which we are aware.
What we do not promise
BLAG does not provide any other promises or warranties about BLAG, BLAG websites (www.BLAG.london, www.BLAG.shop, www.BLAGmagazine.com, www.WeAreBLAG.com) and BLAG Content or products. BLAG, BLAG services, content and products are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. This means that we do not make any promises in respect of BLAG websites or the services and functions available on or through BLAG websites or of the quality, completeness or accuracy of the information published other than as expressly stated above.
The above disclaimers apply equally to your use of the BLAG websites, all BLAG Content, services and when purchasing products. Without limiting the above, we are not liable for matters beyond our reasonable control. We do not control third party communications networks (including your internet service provider), the internet, acts of god or the acts of third parties.
Our financial responsibility to you
You agree that if we are in breach of these terms and conditions, we will only be responsible to you for any damages that you incur arising out of your use of BLAG products (to the extent that BLAG’s liability is not otherwise excluded by this section 10) as follows:
a) If you incur any loss as a result of using BLAG websites, products or services outside the scope of these terms and conditions, BLAG accepts no responsibility (liability) to you for this.
b) You will be responsible for all claims, liabilities, damages, cost and expenses suffered or incurred as a result of your breach of these terms and conditions.
c) BLAG will only be responsible for loss or damage you suffer which is the reasonably foreseeable result of BLAG’s breach of a legal duty of care owed to you, but in no event shall the liability of BLAG or its affiliates exceed the amount, if any, paid by you to BLAG for the particular product to which the claim relates.
d) BLAG will not be responsible to you for any loss or damage suffered by your business, such as lost data, lost profits or any business interruption.
The limitations of liability in this section 10 apply for the benefit of BLAG, its affiliates and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents or any company who we transfer our rights and obligations to in accordance with these terms and conditions.
To the full extent permitted by law you acknowledge and agree that our third party content and data suppliers have no liability whatsoever to you in respect of any of their data supplied to you as part of the BLAG content.
In the event that any term of these terms and conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of the terms and conditions shall remain valid and enforceable. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Nevertheless, we may apply to any court of competent jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property.
You may not license or transfer any of your rights under these terms and conditions. We may transfer any of our rights or obligations under these terms and conditions to any company BLAG may join forces with, if we do so we will ensure that any company to whom we transfer our rights or obligations will continue to honour your rights under them.
Failure by either party to exercise any right or remedy under these terms and conditions does not constitute a waiver of that right or remedy. Headings in these terms and conditions are for convenience only and will have no legal meaning or effect.
If in the event of war, riots, fire, flood, hurricane, typhoon, earthquake, lightning, explosion, strikes, lockouts, slowdowns, prolonged shortage of energy supplies, internet connections, and acts of state or governmental action or circumstances beyond our reasonable control that make it inadvisable, commercially impracticable, illegal or impossible, we may be required to suspend or terminate our service and obligations.
In addition to other prohibitions as set forth in the Terms and Conditions of Service, you are prohibited from using the sites or their content and all associated content created or presented by BLAG such as BLAG email marketing or chat dialogue: (a) for any unlawful purpose; (b) to solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts; (c) to violate any international, federal, provincial or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances; (d) to infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others; (e) to harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin, or disability; (f) to submit false or misleading information; (g) to upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code that will or may be used in any way that will affect the functionality or operation of the Service(s) or of any related website, other websites, or the Internet; (h) to collect or track the personal information of others; (i) to spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape; (j) for any obscene or immoral purpose; or (k) to interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Service or any related website, other websites, or the Internet. We reserve the right to terminate your use of the Service or any related website for violating any of the prohibited uses and reserve the right to inform law enforcement officials when and if required.
These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and BLAG relating to your use of BLAG websites and other online BLAG products and services, BLAG magazine and our Content. They supersede all previous communications, representations and arrangements, either written or oral.
By purchasing BLAG print editions, fine art prints and using www.BLAGmagazine.com, you agree to thoroughly adhere to our Copyright Policy.
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
Passwords: Your passwords are always encrypted, cannot be retrieved and stored securely by our service providers.
Further security: our service providers have a multitude of security mechanisms in place to guard data, such as AAA (Authentication, Authorization and Access Control), attack detection and annihilation mechanisms, encryption of sensitive data, firewalls and anti-virus.
11. Content ownership
All BLAG Content including but not limited to logos, writing, text, photography, audio, video, design, marketing materials presented on or from, www.BLAG.London, www.BLAG.shop and www.BLAGmagazine.com and any selection or arrangement of BLAG Content all belongs to Sally A. Edwards, Sarah J. Edwards and / or BLAG UK Limited unless credited otherwise.
All third party contributed imagery is credited to the copyright holder, who own all intellectual property rights and have kindly granted permissions for us to display and use their work purely for publicity purposes within BLAG and in accordance with copyright laws. See our Copyright Policy.
No intellectual property rights in any BLAG Content (as detailed prior but not limited to the above) plus logos or designs are transferred to you when viewing or purchasing any of our products. ”BLAG” is a registered trade mark and you may not use it without written permission from us. You are permitted to use BLAG Content only as set out in our Copyright Policy.
